Bahram Aghakhan was born in 1976 in Iran.

 

He began learning classical guitar at the age of 13 with Kayvan Mirhadi.  Two years later he started his autodidactic studies in flamenco, and until 2000 continued working on these two styles in parallel.

Since 1994 he has performed in many classical and flamenco concerts including the Concierto De Aranjuez by Joaquin Rodrigo & the Double Concierto by Astor Piazzolla.

So far he has released 3 albums: The Song Of Matadors recorded with flamenco musician Kaveh Nasehi, Persianas, & La Cometa Del Oriente Mediano featuring flamenco singer Raul Mico.

 

After moving to Canada in 2014, Bahram participated in the Flamenco Festival of Montreal and began accompanying flamenco dance at academies La Puerta Negra (Rae Bowhay), and Studio Pleamar (Myriam Allard), as well as performing with maestra Lina Moros.

In 2015 he started working with flamenco dance academies ESMERALDA ENRIQUE & MARIA SERRANO .  Same year invited by Tirgan Festival .

He also collaborated in series of flamenco shows with Alejandra Gonzales(dance) , Fernando Gallego(vocal) , Jose Vega(guitar) , Esmeralda Enrique & Rossane Dion(dance) .
